Walking Trails

There are a total of 12.8 km of developed walking trails at the 900 acre site. The trails are self -guided interpretive trails with directional signage. All of the trails are classed easy walking and follow fairly flat terrain with constructed bridges over marshy areas. The trails are not patrolled. The trails are maintained for walking and hiking in the spring, summer, and fall.  In the winter the trails are open for cross country skiing..  Maps of the trails are located at the kiosk located at the central parking area and at the Kimiwan Lake Birdwalk in Mclennan.
